Kind of strange. Short cop with an inferiority complex, so nothing you can relate to, but entertainment.

Thinking about painting it. I want to do the Yamaha in flat pearl white eventually, so not white... Flat black? Turquoise? Teal? Wood paneling?

If you paint it clear you'll be able to see how much gas is in the tank.

I'm set on color now. Going to do this a little backwards. I ordered a new Corbin seat today:
And then I'm going to paint the bike to match those colors like this, but in Navy and White Not sure about logos yet, but thinking silver pinstriping to match the welt of the seat. Maybe a simple blue star in the middle of the white tear drop shape on the tank. Cowboys!

True. Hadn't occurred to me. Don't really see that as a bad thing I guess....

My brother used to rode an ex-police BMW bike. He said it was very funny how people suddenly slowed down when they clocked him in their rear view mirror! Every time. Just the shape of the bike was enough to give them the horrors.

I spent a couple hours polishing aluminum on the Harley this afternoon. The transformation is amazing. But it's tedious as fuck. Got one fork mostly done and two smallish covers on the right side. I'm dreading tackling the big piece on the left.... Some disassembly may be required.... Tired of it now.... Late for my nap.

Just to give you a sense of the difference...
That's the left side. I did go over the case once with steel wool and chrome polish, so the little white rings are gone, but it still looks very dull and weathered.
