I have a ring that looks like that skull, but it has a turquoise 'gem' in its left eye socket. I'm thinking that I'll try to find some glass gems that will fit the various sizes, and glue them on. Or maybe just paint them in if I can't.

Or maybe glue an eyepatch over the empty socket.

They make the skull medallions you could put on your fuel door.

That's the shifter linkage mixed with the badges. The convex shape of the fuel door won't allow one to be affixed there, but I can put one on the center console just below the door. And one on the back of each saddlebag.

You need one thick enough to grind relief in the backside for the fuel door curvature. But that's a lot of work to get one more of something you've got plenty of.

I'd make a Cowboys joke, but, I'm a Bears man, so...I'll just be over here.

The cam chain tensioners need to be replaced. Also, I broke the cam chain guide while inspecting the cam chain tensioners. It took me 5 hours to remove the exhaust system and foot boards. Because I fucked around and had to go get a couple new tools....

So the Harley is is disarray for now. I'm gong to leave it apart for now and get all the shit I want to do to it done. Needs new shocks, wind shield, and and and...

I'm up to about $4300now all told. Once I paint it and do the cam chain tensioners, It's going to owe me something like 7k. That's a hair more than its retail value.

I just need to convince Amanda to let me sell the Yamaha next spring, and I'll be ok.
