Okay, now I need the suggestions. It's the day before a major food holiday. I will be at work tonight (and tomorrow, as it happens). Tonight, I need to decide what I want to order out for dinner. The restaurants that deliver to me are of the following types: 1 Italian, 2 Greek run Italian, 2 Chinese (one cheap, one mildly classy, or at least more upscale from the other one).
What should I eat for dinner?

I'd go with the Chinese run Greek place.

I'd choose Greek, but thats because I love Greek food. I eat way too much pasta and Italian foods and Chinese is common for us on take out nights. Would be nice to have something different and as far from typical Thanksgiving foods as possible.

Did you remember to break the yolk? If you don't do that it'll explode.

Yes, I broke it, but it exploded (repeatedly) anyway. If it had had Saran wrap to keep it down in the dish it might have worked though.

One of my late wives told me that when she was working in restaurants, they got new microwaves and was told don't put eggs, so as soon as possible they gave it a go, in shell. Oh boy. I buy kitchen gimmicks, so got an micro egg poacher for 2 eggs. Anyway it's no longer here.

I showed your poor, blown up egg to Hubby and he decided to make a sandwich and offered to let me take pictures of his process. Your pic made him hungry!
Anyhow, he slathers a lot of butter in the dish, I only use a little bit. He only pokes a hole in the egg once and doesn't swirl it, I poke and scramble a bit. He also pokes a hole in the saran wrap, I don't. His never blows up, mine sometimes do...not often, but sometimes the edges will pop up and flip over. hh
