Hmmm curing meat with salt is a little more difficult than I thought, this page says it wants low-but-not-freezing temperatures for a month. But it also says you can brine the meat in jars, and doesn't say it has to be any particular temperature for that.

It also says you can smoke the meat, and that seems like the best way.

Ah, but with just salt you can ferment veggies! Of course you have to grow/find them first, but they last basically forever without refrigeration, plus the probiotics will help you fight off all the dysentery you'll be getting from those failing sanitation systems.

I don't have time to tease out whether inside jokes are really jokes, so I'll leave him to the tragically hip. I've become much more reflective about what I expose my brain to. Going deep into any counter-culture is stimulating and fun but from my immersive libertarian experience I know that I often left common sense in the cloak room.

It depends on your definition of alt-right! Originally it meant the revolting white nationalists, including nazi Richard Spencer who apparently coined the term. Guilt by association is revolting. It recalls the red scare, where you could be blacklisted just for being friends with a "known Communist", or attending a meeting to find out what it was about. Today, link to Nazis? Make jokes about Nazis? Well then you must be one.
