I hesitated playing a U because I had been thinking all along that it would be cool to play a Volare for V.
If only I could find the commercial with the song on Youtube |

Yugo, of course.
Had the twin to this one, a red 1988 Yugo GV. Fairly tough little car. 2 great Yugo jokes: Guy walks into the parts house and says "I need a rearview mirror for my Yugo". The counterman says "Sounds like a fair trade." [rimshot] You know why Yugos have rear window defrosters? To keep your hands warm while your pushing that piece of shit. Thanks, I'm here all week, try the Yugo.

How do you double the value of a Yugo?
Put a little fuel in. |

IIRC, you can only put a "little fuel" in one. Mine had a 6 gallon tank.

An old work colleague of mine had one almost identical to the one in the picture, I think it was more orangey coloured though. We called it 'The Torrey Canyon' - you could always tell where he'd been from the trails of oil, I'm sure it went through a couple of gallons of the stuff in a week.

Mine was really a pretty tough little car. As long as you didn't need to get anywhere quick. I can remember literally trying to tear the gearshift out of the floor. The only thing I ever had to do to mine was put in a new clutch disc. I cleaned out a ditch once and didn't put a scratch on it. Had decent factory radio.
ETA: Yet another Yugo joke. How do ya make a Yugo cool? Turn it into a book. E(again)TA: That's a functional hood scoop, btw.
