Given those segments, total mileage is 72.7 mpg.

That's in the Honda Insight.

I knew my answer was wrong, but I thought my estimate would be closer than that. Damn. Now I have to check it.

If you got 114.6 mpg over 19.1 miles, then you used 0.167 gallons on that leg. Then if you got 52.5 mpg over 18.2 miles, you used 0.347 gallons. You went 37.3 miles total and used 0.514 gallons. So that's 72.56 MPG. Alright. You are correct.

Hey- I'm not fuckin' freaked out today......woo-hoo! It's chilly and.....even the coffee tastes better.

Awesome.

Yup. Everythings back to abnormal. I feel better. I can even keep track of time today......It may be going incredibly slow now, but at least I'm back to having a decent perception of it. Talk about going nuts- at least I know now that if I go nuts I can still come back.

I'm Still in a singing mood...

The most beautiful sound I ever heard:
Maria, Maria, Maria, Maria.
All the beautiful sounds of the world in a single word:
Maria, Maria, Maria, Maria, Maria, Maria.

Maria, I've just met a girl named Maria,
and suddenly the name will never be the same to me.
Maria! I've just kissed a girl named Maria.
And suddenly I've found how wonderful a sound can be.
Maria, say it loud and there's music playing.
Say it soft and it's almost like praying,
Maria, I never stop saying: "Maria!"

I talked to my HM re my debts (in nauseating detail in the Health thread) and am finally cried out.

It sounds melodramatic, but I have honestly never cried so much in my LIFE and was scaring myself.

All done now, cry-wise and thinking-HM-wants-me-out-wise and it feels good to be back in the land of the living.

Just got to award some unexpected scholarship dollars to some deserving students! Woohoooo (the "best of times" part of my job.)

First Academic Senate of the school year. It's usually a hoot because a few really pretentious and pompous faculty take the floor and many of us giggle inside! I get to be FA rep, I volunteered, when most of student services begs not to go (I think it's really fun!)

My co-worker is covering my help session this afternoon so I don't have to leave Senate early.

Then we get out an hour early on Friday.

Yep, it's a good day!

The weather today is great! I came in by motorcycle, and might take a long lunch and go for a ride in the hills.

I'm the only person in the office today.

I'm going to my older son's Homecoming game. He's captain of the football team and on Homecoming court--Yoohoo!

My other son is coming with and so is my mom!

It's a good day.

My office is slow too... Did someone not inform me of a holiday?

They're probably getting an early start on the Autumnal Equinox.

That's what I'm thinking about.

Yeah! My son's football team won homecoming 24-23 and he was crowned king (well, his chick, the one he escorted was crowned queen so he wins King default)

Yay! He played a great game (he's tight end) and was v. exciting. I love going to those games. Was such fun.
