Make that 8K. What? It's perfect now. Worth at least $6500. Doesn't matter. It's not for sale.

And now to find out if I did it right.

Leaving this morning for Front Royal. Then on to Lynchburg to stay for nights and celebrate dad's 75th, then riding the Parkway area again.

Nice peaceful morning. Church bells calling mass somewhere nearby. Everyone's still in bed. The place will be humming soon enough. Last full day here. Nice big old house called Concord Manor near Lynchburg.

I just took a nice dip. Now I'm watching the humming birds service those orange flowers that hang from the pergola. Having a good ole time here. Stayed up late singing songs and laughing at each other last night.

Awesome. I was surprised to see hummingbirds in the trees by the cabin on the Shenandoah River we rented for a few days this week. I had only ever seen them at feeders drinking sugar water. Never "in the wild."

I watched them collecting spider-webbing for their nests, once. I was sitting outside on my moms patio in Tucson. Loved it.

Getting on the bike on the way out of Concord Manor yesterday.

Even the old ladies know how to photobomb nowadays.

Met a guy on a Gold Wing that had ridden from Alaska. He took this about 50 miles north of Boone NC. Got rained on a couple times, but it was a good day riding.

Goodness gracious LJ, you're looking mighty manly these days. No wonder you retook the lumberjim name.

I think we caught rain every day but one so far. But not the all day kind, so no days were ruined. Today we are in Waynesboro, VA. Gotta boogie on home. I'm going to try to make good enough time so I can stop at the Harley factory in York on the way.
