well, I was going to say that before, but you said it doesn't come in different sizes. I've got a 12 inch ruler and a 6 inch ruler, as well as a yardstick.

That was my thought, but the only one size threw me. I happen to have a ruler 6" long x 1/2" wide, a ruler 12" long x 1 1/2" wide and an 18" long x 1 1/2" wide. I also have metric ones. Just me bitching - carry on.

clobble, a thin metal ruler bends....even a wooden one bends slightly.....or else we wouldn;t be a ble to make the boi yoi yoi yoing sound you can make by holding a third of it down on the edge of a table and 'diving boarding' the other end.
