I'm serious, all my traffic analysis is seat-of-the-pants.
I don't even think in those kinds of numbers. Total bandwidth is for marketing. They don't mean anything at 4pm EST when traffic is at its highest. |

Jolly good, just trying to get an idea how much a site this size with this kind of content burns though. Those of us plebs who buy colo space in other people's datacentres have to pay by the gig :P

As for me, sometime in '93 - '94 I bought an Apple IIgs and a modem to go with it. I got a shell account with Net Access (which I still use) to connect to my old NCSU accounts and chums, and started investigating the local BBS scene.
The two I called the most were the Cellar and the Institute of Artificial Insanity. And so it went from there. |
