An examination of the track listing for that album fails to reveal the presence of Jesus. Perhaps I lack sufficient faith?

Cell Block Tango - from Chicago (the musical)

...... mmmm .... apropos of nothing, and I'm sure I've told this tale before..

the worst band I ever saw live was Hawkwind... Don't get me wrong, I like Hawkwind - got several of their studio albums... but live? Dire!

Anyway the only thing that dragged me out of the theatre bar that night was the support act, Chicago Transit Authority.... who announced on stage that night that they were going to drop the 'Transit Authority' bit from their name.

CTA and Hawkwind? Nice.

Being currently impoverished due to new home ownership, I kicked myself hard Saturday when I *finally* saw Chicago Live at The Carnegie Hall in a CD version. I've had the LP since it came out, and it is still my favorite Chicago release. What a great, great band they were in those days, right before they went completely over to the banal pop side.
