Home safely with my girl! Enjoying a glass of wine together and talking ... it will possibly be a late night. Tomorrow we brainstorm on gifts, do a surgical strike on the outlet mall, come home and decorate the Christmas tree. We'll put some music on and my father will be with us to enjoy the moment ... looking forward to the next several days.

Some good things happened at work today. I injected a knee for the first time in a few years ... all went well. It's a bit like riding a bicycle.
 And another thing went very well today; details don't matter. I never forget that things can go from best to worst in a heartbeat, but I take my happiness when and where it comes.

Sometimes things take a turn for the better. CPS visited about a child I've been worried about for a while. Turns out the social worker had a kid in my class a few years ago, which was cool and they are truly on top of the situation getting family supports in place. fingers crossed

what makes me happy today is that we have one thread for "what's making you happy" to balance out about 10 on the lines of "unhappy/irritated/sad/angry/boiling your piss" and so on.
