Maybe you could pay $30 to get them taken away again?

How do the attachments work these days?
I thought that if you had an image that was too large to attach, it was simply rejected. But over in the most recent treasure hunt thread, I was going to try to see what the least amount of compression I could get away with on an image is. I tried to upload a 211KB image, just to see if it would work, and it was accepted, but the image became a 76KB image, with horrible artifacts. I thought that was weird, so I deleted that, compressed mine some more and , tried uploading a 192KB image. It too was accepted, but was also compressed into a 76KB image. Then I tried doing a 134KB image, and it looks like that was accepted as is. What is the file size limit? And will the program accept anything larger than that but simply compress it into a 76KB file? |

The filesize limits are 180k and 1600 wide or high. The system attempts to resize any image beyond those sizes.

That's awesome. Well there's no big news except that she has a new album coming out tomorrow, and that image here is #10 in Yahoo! Image Search which is where the traffic is coming from.
