I'll finally admit it, I'm also an LJ puppet... a well maintained one by any means, but I just use this account to let loose all my 'inner kid' shit and all my gay fantasies without jinx killing me.

There's a difference between busting chops and demeaning ridicule. In a serious thread, folks like radar, ug, mercy, and (disappointingly) Bruce call people who disagree with them stupid, foolish, mentally ill and liar. And if you dare to respond in kind, zippy, buster, wolf, jinx, etc pile on, without adding anything of substance.

BTW, Spexxvet is Ducknut's sock puppet. Just rearrange the letters - you'll get it.

Jeb, do you have Microsoft Word? Copy and paste to that and then back here to make sure you don't make misstakes.
Firefox spell check is your friend.

Like right now, its telling me that mistakes only has one "s" :p

Dontcha hate that, every time you bag someone's spelling, you can guarantee to stuff something up yourself.

Right. How long have you
had these pains, Mr. Barber?

No, that's Babar.

Two B's?

One "B."
B-A-B-A-R.

That's two.

Yeah, but not together.

Your call. I can't fix what I can't see though. I asked in earnest, out of ignorance. The offer stands.

As an aside, the work I do gives me the chance to interact with many many people, everyone in the company (and several outside it). As I do my work, I'm constantly asking for feedback as to how I'm doing, from their perspective. When I complete a task, this short survey is sent by my boss to the person I helped.

<users name goes here>:

I am trying to measure my success at providing quality service. Would you mind answering a few quick questions about this ticket, please? I would also welcome any ideas or suggestions you have about how I could improve my service. Please send your reply to this message to boss-email@companydomain.com.

Thanks in advance.

Yours,

BigV

Please answer with a number from 1 to 5 where 1 represents least agreement and 5 represents most agreement.

1 – Was your problem solved in a professional manner?

Unprofessional – Very professional

1 2 3 4 5

2 – Was your problem solved in a timely manner?

Very slow -- Very quick

1 2 3 4 5

3 – Was your problem solved to your satisfaction?

Unsatisfactory – Very satisfactory

1 2 3 4 5

How can I improve if I don't know where I am now? To know that I have to ask, and I have to be able to measure it in some way. This is how it works at work for me. I originally asked you about what's not working (what's untrue) in this same spirit. I'm not doggin you, or callin you out, or cross examining you. I'm seeking to improve. I could use your help, please.

BigV, I'm having trouble getting feedback from some of my customers. Mind if I C/P that survey format?
