Never having tasted the wonder that is known as Tastykake, I'll have to take your word for it. Until I do, Hostess will always me My Best Friend.
Gawd, I'm hungry.

[url=http://www.bigjohnsbeefjerky.com/index.php]These guys are a couple hours drive away from me ... I've only ever dealt with them online, though. I'll be out in York later this summer, and may check them out in person, if I have time.

Just be careful it's not like this place.

We did travel to a place in PA that made Lebanon Bologna (I can't remember if it was Weavers or Seltzers). The whole place smelled like wood smoke from the smokehouse.

My wife and I had a Tastykake discussion. It turns out her favortie is the chocolate Hostess cake with Tastkykake taking second and third place. Having tried both I was stunned. To me Tastkykakes taste closer to 'real' than anything Hostess makes. The very fact the Tasty Pies have a 5 day shelf life shows that they don't use preservatives. In the snack world, only the good die young. If it has a 2 year shelf life, stick it in an MRE box and save it for emergencies.

The best Tastykakes are the 'special feature' flavor pies like strawberry and pineapple. Peanut butter cakes which are 'enrobed', are good in the freezer.

Before I even knew that you liked them, I was considering sending you a care package of Tastkycakes if you were down in Louisiana for more than a month. Send me your address if you can actually get mail.

Freshley? Never heard of her.
Probably a friend of the skank, Little Debbie.
I'd steer clear, if I were you.

In general, i don't like snack cakes very much... so I think I'll avoid them all - except for the occasional Little Debbie Peanut Butter Bar.

Currently addicted to East of Chicago's Taco Pizza.

Salsa, ground beef, sour cream, lettuce, tomatoes, onions, cheese, black olives. Mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm. Plus, it gives ya heartburn. What's not to like?

I've become addicted to Caffeine yet again. Diet Dr. Pepper and Diet Mtn. Dew, so it's not a waistline killer, it does give me kidney stones/pain though.

No worries, I'll kick it in the first couple days of the semester(starts tomorrow, Aug. 29th).

I have a bottle of Gil's Crying Tongue Olives that were given to me as a gift.

I occasionally want to have a martini party so I can inflict them on some unknowing person.

But I do not like martinis.

Or olives.

The Airliner is reopening this weekend!!!!

They only have the BEST pizza within 600 miles of here... I think Perth might be able to back me up on this, if this thread catches his eye. I can't wait till lunch Monday, woo hoo!! Thick crunchy crust, perfect amounts of tomatoey sauce, and loads of real cheese.

I'm gonna quit eating. I'm a freaking elephant these days. did anyone see Courtney Love on Comedy Central's Pamela Anderson Lee's Roast? I didn't, either, but I saw a pic of Courtney during the Roast in People mag. I'm fatter than that. I am no longer going to eat.
