Time flies like an Eagle, Fruit Flies like a Banana

These will cause a, "seems like yesterday", or a, "that's ancient history"... probably both.

This worst year in Beatles' history has Paul being arrested in Japan in January, and John being shot dead in December.

We camped for a week about three miles from Mt. St Helens but ran out of food and film and went home a day before it blew.
We just enjoyed a well-aged 1980 Parducci Petite Sirah from my sketchy collection.

I was there for 10 weeks working at a power plant in Centralia for Westinghouse. They plowed the ash in the motel parking lots with snow plows. I did a lot of exploring and just before we came home 3 of us chartered a small plane to fly around the mountain. Weren't allowed to fly directly over it but by the time we were close enough to look in the caldera and see the center cone I was out of film.
