What's in your pocketsess? or Purse?
I tend to collect a lot of change at the bottom of my purse. I dump it all out and take the receipts, trash, coins, etc. and sort it out.
When I have enough change, I take it to the bank and put it into savings. Right now, my purse has: Wallet Little bottle of Stevia sweetener. Red leather pouch containing cards, reserved money, stamps, coupons, etc. Baggie with wipes. pens, highlighters comb chapstick, lipstick books (usually at least one, sometimes 2) small notebook my checkbook misc. cosmetics keys when I'm not at home. occasionally shoes or underwear.

I do not want to know what is in my purse/handbag. I have taken to ignoring it and "going bloke" -i bring it with me in the car but when i walk about I just take my wallet with my cash/credit cards/DL etc, my inhaler and my lens case in my pockets. And my cellphone and scraps of paper and pens which were always in my pockets.
OK I admit it, I know what is in my handbag -it's all the scraps of paper on which I have written notes. they are multiplying like bacteria. it's horrible. In the good old days, before I completely lost control of day-to-day things, i used to carry a small backpack style handbag (about 9"*6"*3"). In it would be: diary, checkbook, adressbook 2 wallets -one with every day cards and cash, one with the ones you almost never need but never know when that day with be. they also contained postage stamps and address labels nailfile lens case spare set of lenses glasses inhaler tube of eczema cream painkillers antacid tablets needles and thread 2 new AA batteries new film for camera paperclips rubber bands hair bobbles measuring tape mini flashlight watch capstick chewing gum carboard cutout of each of my children's footprints piece of yarn the length of each of my children's pant, with a knot showing the waistband width mirror flashdrive swiss Army knife set of mini screwdrivers tweezers tampons permanent marker knickers bandaids instant stitches and a crapload more, I'm sure. Yes, i was a scout. Yes, the zip is bust and that is the main reason I have stopped carrying it about Yes, I have a new handbag, it is bigger Yes, the changeover is likely to be time-consuming. Hence the current essentials-only in pockets thang.

I'm so glad. I was worried you were a little "pocketly-challenged".
Oh wait -that was just the ammo?

I try to carry as small a purse as possible, but there's still too much crap in it. I'm not going to actually look, but I can guess there's:
- a bunch of change, no pennies - Dr. Pepper lip gloss ALWAYS, compact, eye liner - a bunch of receipts - new-ish PA driver's license (a tough thing to come by these days) - maybe some cash, if I'm lucky - credit card, just in case - batz maru notebook with stuff written in it I'll never read again - cell phone usually, though it's on my desk right now - promo pen - big ole bunch of keys |

My purse gets classified as a diaper bag. It's something pretty similar to monster's list, PLUS diapers, wipes, diaper rash creme, a tupperware of cheerios, a onesie, a waterproof bag, and a large assortment of miscellaneous baby-entertainment items.

Purse: besides my wallet.....a bottle of hydrocodone, vasoline, 2 sticks of dynomite (tampons).
Briefcase: more dynomite, body spritzer, files, toothbrush and paste, cell phone, day planner, another bottle of pain pills. Pocket: nothin' but lint and the occasional vial of something or other for work (no, the vial is not another container of pills). |

I haven't been carrying a purse much, just using my coat pockets. Razr in one side, wallet in the other with a chapstick and my car keys.
