I used to get those jelly belly packs where they put like 30 different flavors of jelly bean in it. And then on the back they have a very precise color code. The watermelon would be a specific darker shade of green. Well I would have to spread them all out and put them into their various categories, because there were three kinds I hated and would never eat.

Then I realized it was too much manual labor so I stopped eating them

thats an interesting thread.

i make no distinction for color or count. only with jelly bellies do i eat them individually, and only because they're so strongly flavored.

i do try to eat peanut m&m's one or two at a time by melting them down to the peanut before biting, but i have to concentrate, or i wind up just crunching them up.

mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm

I agree Bri. It's like you can't get that good old green Hi-C anymore. They have Very Berry Merry Fairy, Positively Punchiful Pears and Potatoes, Fruity Duity Hotte Latte, but no damn plain old green lime Hi-C. Effers.

I have developed a penchant for the sour varieties of more traditional candies, like sour licorice whips, sour Skittles, and the holiest of the holies, Sour Patch Kids.

I'm starting to worry that there's something addictive that they put in that sour powder stuff that's on 'em.

I can't stand that stuff, but my kids love all of them. They know that bringing it near me is a good way to start a "why can't they make Good Candy Like We Used To Have When I Was A Kid(tm)" rant.
