Rib Roast. my mom has historically overcooked this, but this year, I've threatened her life, so I'm hopeful that she will stop cooking it at med rare, and serve au jus like you're supposed to do.
whatever else we have will be fine, I'm sure. I just hope I can get home before it's too cold. I have to work until 4pm, and that always runs late.

I have been invited to a friend's home for Christmas Dinner. She has announced that she is not cooking this year, has stated that she is buying a dinner outright, but won't reveal where she's getting it. I asked if she'd ordered the dinner from Acme, as I've had that in the past and it is quite good, but nope. Remains a mystery.

French toast w strawberrys
A small turkey with the trimmings. Christmas eve is gift giving to extended family and an extended family meal together Italian style. I love giving gifts but I am just not too into eating. I would be happy with the breakfast and that's all. |

Haven't decided for sure yet...probably the usual, which, for us, is Steak (the best we can find), ceasar salad, sauteed mushrooms, corn on the cob, dinner rolls, green veggie of some sort and baked/scalloped or similar potatoes. Pie for dessert.
I see a couple french toasts up there....haven't made that in years, good idea for breakfast!
