I've got a JR terrier....
She's five, named Autumn (already named, obviously). Her previous owner was such a douche that he kept her crated (crate a Jack Russel??) and never got her spayed. He kept her then dumped her on his mother - a woman who boards horses and has her own little share of cats and dogs, etc. I think because Auty was crated she is oblivious to danger and there was real fear that the horses would kill her (she didn't know enough to get out of their way!) (oh, yeah, at the farm she was let out of the crate)
I have her now. she is VERY sweet, and despite what you might think due to her not knowing about Very Big Animals and Cars, she is smart. She is obedient and only wants to please and be loved. Sweet girl. Thing is, my cats are now on strike. I am doing my best to make this introduction smooooooth, baby, but the dog wants to hunt. any suggestions would be welcome!
