Stopped in, taking a break from my bunberrying duties, to inform you that GB has created a Wickerman themed roller coaster ride. With flames.

Does this belong in entertainment, current events, technology, who knows?

My family went to Universal Studios when I was a kid, and there was a Jaws-themed ride where you took a boat on a set path around a lake and some theatrical crap happened on alternating sides. Like the "It's a Small World" ride, but with more blood and teeth.

At one point there was an explosion special effect, and we were supposed to "quick, turn!" the boat to avoid it. Except what our boat operator actually said was, "Quick, everyone, turn hard right! Uh... turn... uh, that's not supposed to happen..." And then she immediately started slamming buttons and talking into her radio. Our boat had slipped off the tracks and was heading directly toward a roughly six-foot inferno.

Anyway, the boat drifted to a stop; it was fine. After a few minutes some burly guys waded through the 4-foot-deep water and hurked our boat sideways back onto the railing.
