Those cameras don't show as much of the skyline as you'd think they would. I wonder how much, if any, of the plane the camera at I-395/Pentagon would catch, really...or even if that camera is looking in the right direction. There aren't any cameras on the highway that would have caught the impact. The Pentagon wouldn't allow a such a public constant camera feed on their building anyhow. They'd feel....SPIED on.
TrafficLand.com - This site provides live camera feed from the traffic cameras are the DC Metro and Baltimore areas; you'll want decent bandwidth. There's a bit of clicking you'll need to do to see the cameras most likely able to catch anything. From the above link, click on DC cameras. You'll see a map outlining the region's 495 Beltway. Click on the part in the very center, where Reagan Nat'l Airport is marked. You'll then see a map of the VA/DC border with 395 snaking through the center. In the set of pink dots, look for the four clustered around the Rt. 110 marking in the center and just to the left. There are three dots on the left of 110 marking and one to the right. The I395/Pentagon camera is the middle dot to the left of the Route 110 marking. The Crystal City/Pentagon camera is the dot just below it.
There will be a quiz on this later.
