No. I think if kerry gets in he will try and continue the occupation because the situation is now too entrenched to be able to walk away from it in the short term. If Kerry presides over a war which becomes more and more entrenched, possibly with what looks like it could be an economic mess in the making running alongside that, there's a risk he'll be the last democratic president for a good few years.
If Bush wins the next election and continues to rampage around the world getting his soldiers killed for no good reason whilst presiding over an administration which has effectively divorced some 44 million Americans from the healthcare system .......there's a possibility he'll be the last republican president for a few years. |
