Ha, ha, ha, alphageek, what reputation? People have been jumping my case about my lousey spelling since I first started posting here. No dollar for you! (Thanks for the attempt on my behalf, however, and it is a rather elegant thought - to loose one's readers upon the world. Yes, I like that - like a pack of WOLVES set free!)

From the Columbia Guide's discussion of the terms "loose" and "lose";

"The chief spelling problem is the inadvertent misspelling of lose as loose."

Yeppers, I meant "lose" - guilty as charged. My mistake and Wolf's sharp eye and sardonic comment serve to illustrate nicely the point I was attempting to make.
