The fuzzy barcode has been figured out (at last :). It reads "Another corpse does a 350-40." and is here: http://img259.imageshack.us/my.php?i...ldecode9ay.gif if you'd like to see for yourself.
So. We have "[does a] 350-40", and "to 639 by 59". 'Another corpse', interestingly, only appears in Dance at the beginning of chapter 40 (though it's page 360, rather than 350). |

About the 350-40 you say its on page 360 but if you take 350-40 you get 10 then add it back to the 350 you end up with 360. Lol just a quick glance at things sorry if its annoying. |

Probably no longer relevant -but -
Gregor Samsa is a fictional character in The Metamorphosis, a novella by Franz Kafka in which Samsa tries to live his life after having been transformed into a large insect creature. He is a travelling salesman. Contrary to popular belief, the author never states that Gregor Samsa was transformed specifically into a cockroach. Samsa's last name is the author's in substitution cipher form. If the S's are replaced with K's, and the M with an F, you get Kafka. Gregor Samsa had to come to terms with the realization that he was no longer human and his life had and would change dramatically. His family was now no longer a part of him and he had to move on and accept that not only his change but the change that his family had to go through also. It was not him that had the only transition, he got to do for himself and his family had to begin supporting themselves. Thank Liz L. For that. NOT MORE BARCODES!!! |

Also (sorry - triple post, my edit button's gone again...) Murakami wrote a book called "Kafka on the Shore" Franz Kafka is the author of "The Metamorphosis"... Maybe we should go there?
