I just finished "A Heartbreaking Work of Staggering Genius" by Dave Eggers. Pretty good, I'm not sure how to describe the writing style. Think Kerouac, although more whiney and self-centered with a thick helping of sarcastic detachment.
Also pretty much everything, if not the entire book, in Cathedral & Bazaar is on Raymond's website. It's decent, though better when the stuff was fresh. My opinion of ESR has fallen greatly in the last year or two. The Art of Unix Programming, available in full on ESR's site, is a decent read.
