I didn't realise it wasn't international or I'd have given more detail. Yes, its a glucose drink - if you were ill in the 70's the chances are your Mum would have poured this down your throat!

Its bright orange but doesn't have a particularly strong flavour, so not to be confused with Iron-Bru.

But as you say - brimful of sugar, and bearing in mind I'm drinking it partly to repair myself following a night on calorific beer its hardly surprising I am beginning to bulge out of my clothes
