Not necessarily. I know a lot of sexually ambiguous, gay and otherwise "abnormal" people. Most of them, or at least no more than the general population of "normal" people, are rather well-adjusted.

I think the key is in accepting who and what you are.

Thru my 16-yo daughter, I meet (and check out, ha!) a lot of teenage guys. It seems to be somewhat fashionable to be bi-sexual these days.

But actually, the better teenage guys define themselve straight. A number of the bi-guys did things...uhm..to give themselves legal problems.....I mean they flat out fucked up. And now Rockette is much more attentive of my assessments.

Her new bf is quite the (long-haired) gentlemen, is a guistarist and discussed with me amaziingly good respect and knowledge of Steve Howe and David Gilmour. Rockette had no idea who we were talking about.

They wanted to go up to the city on their own to see their friend's-from-school band in a teenage-battle-of-the-bands, but none of the parents could escort them so we didn't let them go. Late night in San Francisco, I don't think so. The kids we're OK with that.

Their friend's band won first place and they're not mad at us; great kids.

Hope the conclusion of that was that Gilmour > Howe.

It does bother me that being bi is regarded as being 'fashionable', mostly because of desperate guys pretending it be queer to make themselves hotter in chicks' eyes. When I told some people here that I was bi, the first question I was asked was "are you really bi or do you just pretend to try to get girls?" It gives us dudes who really are bi a bad name.

It's much easier on the mind if you don't think, "He's gay." or "She's a lesbian" but instead think, "That person is attracted to that person." I find attraction to be on a case-by-case basis. There have been one or two guys I was attracted to, but I've since realized they did nothing for me, but I'm not opposed to the idea of being attracted to a guy. I wouldn't call myself bisexual though. I love women too much.

There's not really anything wrong with guys wearing nail polish, is there? I mean, I don't think it's the most attractive thing in the world....or wait, are they taking it because they're gay, or what? Maybe I didn't read far enough into the conversation...but back to what I was saying, if you're comfortable with yourself, and your masculinity or feminity, at least for me, it doesn't matter what anyone else thinks of me.
