My guess is it's the camera. He's taking a picture of himself in the bathroom mirror.

Nice to see you BigV. I don't know what I thought you looked like, but it wasn't that. Now I need to adjust my mental image of you.

Yep. That's me alright.

...evil nasty mother f**cker... You'd be surprised--I get that a lot. I did try smiling though. Guess it didn't have the desired effect. 's alright. I don't have to look at that mug, y'all do, and you have my pity.

Yes, it's the camera in the bottom of the shot. I took about 8 pictures to get the effect. I wasn't able to duplicate the placement of the bankshot exactly, so the camera wound up in the frame (which I could not see since I'm looking in the lens) on the second shot. It was hard enough to get all that damned hair in the picture in the first place.

So V, why did you cut your hair in the first place? Can't be hot in Seattle, yet.

Yes, hot. It was like 79 freakin degrees last week! I almost sweated. I like the short hair much better. Less maintenance, less heat retention, less wind resistance, less to grab (less important now that the youngest doesn't ride on my shoulders much anymore). I delayed the haircut longer than I wanted too because I lost the clippers. So I bought a new set and bzzzzzzt. Instant cool.

I actually cut it *long* since the people in the office have never seen me with hair this short. I won't let it get so long next time and I'll cut it shorter, maybe a number two guard (3/8"). Cutting it ALL off has its appeal too, but it's not the low maintenance haircut it appears to be. A couple of days later and I can't put on a t shirt without having it velcroed to my head on the way over. Anyway, there's more where that came from and the gray ones are a lot harder to see.
