True , but I married into kids , there may be a few Nappy headed Zippys running about in various parts of the world , but I have NEVER heard of them

It's not about not letting 'undesirable' people breed, it's about forcing the issue of parental responsibility. When people who refuse to accept responsibility have kids they effectively force everyone around them to rush to make up the difference, or in most cases doom their kids to miserable lives. This isn't the government assessing people on an individual basis, that would definitely become corrupt. It's about creating a societal baseline standard which everyone is expected to meet, no exceptions.

No, because my problem isn't with them having kids, it's with them raising them. They can't adopt either.

If you are fine with them having kids, then why go to the trouble of surgically neutering them? Why not just take the infants of bad parents away from them after they are born and fail the state administered parent test?
