Advice for new digital camera

So I went shopping for a new digital camera and compared options, price, etc. and finally picked the Canon PowerShot S3. I am looking for something my wife can point and shoot, but gives me options for more diverse photo ops. This camera has several lens attachments, plus a decent optical zoom. Any opinions from Cellar users? Is there a better camera in same price range? I can get this plus a 2 GB SD card for $330. The money is burning a hole in the pocket and if I don't spend it, my wife will.

My advice regarding your digital camera choice is real simple...buy it, and immediately start taking intimate photos of yourself and your companion, and then post them in the Cellar Dwellars NSFW picture thread.

Thanks all, your advice is helpful. As for "breaking it in" Elspode, might have to get the missus rip-snoring drunk first...she's a bit shy. Don't know why because she's a hottie.
