Ratty sayz you goin' ta' hellzorz

Ratzinger stressed again a few days ago that the Roman Catholic Church is absolutely the only way to be spared damnation and hellfire.

Quote:
The statement brought swift criticism from Protestant leaders. "It makes us question whether we are indeed praying together for Christian unity," the World Alliance of Reformed Churches, a fellowship of 75 million Protestants in more than 100 countries, said in a letter charging that the document took ecumenical dialogue back to the era before the Second Vatican Council, which modernized the church.

So, the ONLY people in heaven are good Roman Catholics?

Well, save me a place in line for hell!

Fucking moron.

I like the "atheism is the the denial of religion just like my hobby is the denial of stamp collecting".

Frankly, I think it is nice to see the Catholic Hierarchy acting like Catholics again, rather than touchy-feely Protestant Wannabees.

I would think a whole lot less of "Good Roman Catholics" if they didn't believe in their faith.

Well, if the Catholic Church wanted to cut off most of North America and Western Europe, they're doing a fine job. They can have the third world...let's see how much those folks can contribute to keep up some of the hierarchy's lifestyles and buildings.

After reading my previous post #4, I think I should say that I feel the same way about most any religion.

According to Griff, the South American church is pretty liberal, so they might be cutting them off too.

You're either with us, or against us...

That's how this stuff works. Always has, always will:

I didn't even think of South America...that still seems so "Catholic." At the rate things are going down there, the Church will start losing its property unless it kisses the asses of people like Chavez.
