Cyclocross
Hey, cyclists:
I just stumbled across this website, detailing a cyclocross race here in Iowa City in a couple weeks. WTF?? I've never even heard of cyclocross! The link "cyclocross 101" describes what it is with video, and I am so totally wanting to try this!!!!! I doubt I'll be able to do this one, since it's Thanksgiving weekend, but have any of you guys done it? I'm mostly thinking of breakingnews, since IIRC he used to do some racing but he hasn't been around that I know of. I am so pumped! I have got to do one of these...

That website is so freaking annoying. I didn't think anyone made them like that since the turn of the century.

OK, OK, I agree, the site SUX, especially the annoying freaking Santa flying off the cursor, but doesn't that look like a BLAST???!!!

Riding is fun. I can even see how running can be fun. But running with a bike on your shoulder? Can you wear football shoulder pads to keep the cross bar from digging in?
