I do appreciate how you managed to shoehorn a little physics in there. It makes it seem all sciency.
Nobody said it has anything to do with magic. Infact, this is all about higher science of realization.

"Higher science of realization." Hmm, I find the word science there a little out of place.

Chili gives me a warm glow.

Seriously, if we could all be buddhas and live in the moment we would be but we must plan to eat.
If you can figure out how to remove the laws of nature that way then let me know.

' cause there just isn't enough wild berries in the world for me to be anything more than mildly amuzed.

I got a name if you want to talk to someone who is really in the 'know' .......(oh besides bruce).

No, no, no, I'm far from enlightened. If I were, I wouldn't notice the annoying people who claim they are.

Science requires falsifiability. What would possible count as evidence against your idea? If something can't be tested in any way that might possible lead to failure, it's not science.

Oh you thought I think you are enlightened?
oh no! 'in the know' is quite different than enlightened.

A shoot from the hip person might make his mark but it is gut inspired. me thinks * shrug *

My mistake, to me "enlightened" and "in the know", could be synonymous.

lol! I am always amazed at how low-brow the cellar can actually be. C'mon guys...

"Even a lotus blossom can grow from the mud." lol!

You have a name if I want to blah blah blah what? Sky? What?

Most major buddhist texts include the fact that women cannot attain Nirvana or Enlightenment, so I have to respectfully decline from the whole thing. If you are a woman and think you are respected in the buddhist community, think again, and read some text for yourself. If you don't find it, read some more until you do. Even in the other realms you are considered second class. How do you like that? You are not even bodhisattva until you can attain, at least, your maleness..

If you are really interested, read the old texts and ask questions until you "get it". Better luck in the next lifetime hon- and you better chant your ass off until you become a man, then you might not have the bad karma of being a woman, and then you might be on your way.....
Good luck to you. Actually read something........

Lots of indigenous cultures that practice buddhism know what is in the texts......Read the literature for yourself.

I didn't realize until too late what all the old Japanese women were chanting about for awhile......They really screwed up their Karma at some point because they are obviously women. Ladies, have fun with your "buddhism"..........lol!

Send your money to your monk, Temple, or Kai Kon of choice. The more money you send, the better chance you have. Good luck being so enlightened and on the path to Nirvana!.....................~not~

That's my little spot of sunshine for you guys today. Carry on!!

Westerners really have a glamorous idea of the basics of buddhism, and really are quite happy to stick to those, when in all reality if they would just read the indigenous material from buddhist sects, they may decide that it was never for them in the first place.

Oh and another good reason you won't even be boddhisattva ladies? Your "house is full of demons" once a month...Look it up...Western suuuucckers!

I am enlightened about my inability to even be "enlightened" per- the basics of buddhist philosphy and text right from the buddhas. (there are many)

So whateeever!!!

wtf!

blah blah yes! now stfu I wasn't talking about you or anything really...I was just being sarcastic based on my own past personal beliefs which amount to nothing evidenced by my mixing of two schools of thought. ( or being) lol. I'm just a lousy dabbler to which I find nothing much of value in any religion in it's entirety.

now what the hell are YOU talking about?? ranting about 'cause your going on and on in about 9 different directions. Are you bi polar?

Hey! No stfu Cicero.......I'll talk your damn ear off. I don't give a shit. Quit being rude.

If you can't follow one subject from beginning to end, let me know first next time, so I can apply a title to all my posts or indicate when I intend to change subjects even though it was indicative by line breaks. I am not crazy just because you can't keep up...And if I were bi-polar, wouldn't that make you a bitch for pointing that out, consequently making fun of that condition in the first place?

The subject of my post? Women: excluded from enlightenment and Nirvana. There. All spelled out. Now go on and read my response again.

I'm goooing to talk alllll day now. To everyone. About everything. Good job sky.

Even LJ got it, what the hell is wrong with you cracker?

You're right. I only read these parts... Your original comment was to call the cellar low brow, use my name and talk about something nobody knows about just to prove how much you know.

ok now you can cha(n)t your ass off 'till you become a man 'cause even a lotus blossom can grow from mud.

[Cicero/] "Even a lotus blossom can grow from the mud." lol! [Cicero]

“Even amidst fierce flames - the golden lotus can be planted,” a quote from 16th century Chinese poet Wu Ch’Eng-En.

The point of the whole thing was to discuss why I shouldn't do that, and neither should any woman, but the question is:when am I going to have to quit describing everything for you?
