10/18: Afghan crater

As I looked at this image of Afghans checking out a crater in Kabul, I realized that it was strikingly similar to another image we all know and love. Call it "after", and call this image "before":

Afghanistan is so arid they don't have enough water to make mud. Hence a flopper drdops like a rock.

The more I look at the bellyflopper image, the more I wonder:

What if that guy has been levitating there for a minute or so? What's if in fact the Second Coming has indeed occured, but this time the Savior has taken an "alternative" body style, and is just floating there to prove to his buddies that indeed he is...

As someone who has read both Fark and Cellar just about everyday for the past several months, I'm rather surprised there hasn't been more overlap until now.
