I'll give you a hint--he put on a rubber glove before he...pulled them out.

I've always known football is a rough sport, and players get injured, but after doing this fantasy football this fall, there is absolutely no way my son will be allowed to play football.
Brian Westbrook sprained his ankle a couple weeks ago, and then last week broke two ribs. So I got on the internet to read about the treatment for broken ribs. Everything I saw said that if you don't do anything even remotely vigorous, the ribs will heal in a couple months. But if you stay active, they will never heal. Also, you're in constant excruciating pain until they do heal. It hurts to breathe. Then I read the little blurb about Westbrook the other day, and he's saying his broken ribs are "sore", and that he can't sleep, but that he hopes to play this weekend. Maybe wear a flak jacket and play anyway. Some web sites report that if you are active with broken ribs, you can puncture internal organs. But the Eagles were actually talking like he might play the game this weekend. I benched him. So today they announced he won't play, and next week is a bye, so there is still speculation that he will play the next game after that. Frankly, that's insane. I know the money is good, but wtf? You only get one body. The bones won't heal in two weeks. |

Yeah, you know, I'm a kind of ruthless coach. Part of me feels bad for the guy, and the other part is all "rub some dirt on it, Nancy. Get your ass on the feild."

I have a hard time feeling sorry for a millionaire because he was injured doing his job. I know it's cold of me.....but yeah....rub some dirt in it is right.

I'm thinking I'm going to start Ferrote vs the Lions instead of Peyton Manning vs the Ravens.....
it looks like a bad play on paper, but i get the feeling that peyton will struggle.

I'm wondering about McNabb. I benched him because he's sucked lately. Also, Westbrook is out, and that hurts him too. But he just held a meeting with the team to kick some energy into everyone and turn things around. The pep talks always work in the movies. Do they work in real life?

Excuse me, but Donovan has not altered his play at all since the start of the season..
That little diagram shows nothing but numbers. The reality of the way he's preformed is based upon the defence's he's faced. He started the season by Kicking the non-existant defence of the Rams. He then beat up on the mediocre Dallas defence. Since then he has faced 3 of the 7 best defence's in the NFL: #1=Chicago #4=Redskins #7=Steelers He now plays the 49ers who's pass defence has been under par for several years. If you're contemplating starting Rodgers over Mcnabb in a week like this? you might as well drop the man. Yes Westbrook is his best option but HELLO!!!!, the Packers are missing half their team...I don't care how bad the Seahawks are. Your decision is a no-brainer
