Actually, when I mentioned Max to the kids, Mav pointed out to me that apparently, Max is the number one dog name in Australia. That doesn't really surprise me. Now that I think about it, I know two dogs named Max.
As far as getting Max and Mav mixed up, it's probably actually a good choice really. I spend a lot of time calling Aden, Maden because I go to call Mav when I mean Aden. I think all parents call their kids by the wrong siblings name sometimes or as I do, create some whole new combination of both. At least if there's Max and Mav, Aden wont have to suffer another strange name being added to the list.
