Derivatives
Wasn't sure which thread to put this in so I thought I'd start one.
So, are derivatives all bad, or just expanded to the point of disaster? Also, look up bucket shops on Wiki. Congress superseded all state 'bucket shop' laws with the Financial Securities Modernization Act of 1999. It also repealed Glass-Steagal, and probably other Depression-Era laws put there for a good reason.
