I just threw out my home calendar I got for christmas last year, and realized I hadn't turned the page since June.
At work, I like the little desk one my brother gets from the organization for which he is director. Also, we get all kinds of school associated calendars. If I buy one, it's usually a humor one or lighthouses or wolfhounds or the ocean or something.

House, M.D. Wall Calendar (Yes, 12 months of sexy House-ness!)
My carry around calendar is the One Spirit Book Club Planner thingy. It was cheap, and has sturdy covers. I don't find the Crackberry Calendar as easy to use as the Palm, and decided to try going back to a paper calendar this year.

I use a Google calendar online with sync to my iPhone. It's how we keep the "which house is Patrick staying at today" schedule straight.

Every year for many years a friend has sent me a Greenpeace calendar - they're great! But this year she didn't get it organised in time, so she gave me an Oxfam "patterns from nature" one. This is on the kitchen wall.
To carry around, I use my nokia phone synced with the pc ...

If you are a mother you should not be without one of these:
http://www.amazon.com/Moms-Family-20.../dp/B002IERTNM My wife has been using them for the last 10 years and saves them to keep track of most everything that happened. It is a great tool for busy families. If it is not on the calendar, kept on the frig in the kitchen, it is not going to be planned into the immediate future.
