Would it be easier to just move to a cooler climate?

in fact i just maybe moving to st. louis in a few months.
anywhoo i replaced the accumulator and compressor today. what a bitch that was. not so much the compressor but getting the freakin' accumulator free from the firewall was a total bitch. see it has a spring lock in it and you need a special tool to free it. even with the tool it was hard to break free. anyway, friday night is the first chance a friend has to stop by work and pull a vacuum on the system and charge it with r-134. BUT here's the catch. my friend at work (where i changed the system out so i would have access to the unorganized shop. hell in some cases it took me longer to find the damn wrench or socket i needed than it did to actually use it) he was laying across the engine and inadvertently fucked something up on top of my water pump. hell i just took some of that apart last week to replace a bad cam position sensor. i miss my chevy.
