lol, bruce!

i agree tulip! the gym i'm joining is a bit down 45 in texas city but my workout partner and trainer doesn't have a car so that pretty much narrows it down. this place is 100 bucks for 3 months or 300 for the year. not too bad. today's workout got 86'ed because louis had to go into work early. i don't mind though. i think my arms fell off last night while i was sleeping!

My method of getting to the gym is that when I have the thought that I should go to the gym, I must get up and go immediately. I've trained myself so that my first thought when I wake up in the morning is to go to the gym.

Vicious cycle.

I wented. I did a half hour on the elliptical (with arms), 10 minutes on the rowing machine, a couple of laps round the track and then a half mile in the pool. And my legs weren't even wobbly coming up the stairs.

workout for today? weights? no. cardio? plenty! rained at work. must've ran 3 miles in sprints total chasing idiots that can't drive go-karts in the rain and spun themselves out. you have to haul ass to get to them before they decide to get out of the kart on the track to prevent them from getting nailed by another go-kart and shattering their leg. or worse. safety. all about safety. i'm bushed! tomorrow? repeat of today. thank god it's only a 5.5 hour shift and not open to close.

You need roller skates, or a motorized skate board.

maybe i won't have to mcgyver a weight set after all. if this interview hits a home run then i will be joining a gym.

then again i prolly sparked some curiosity so if i get enough requests i'll build it anyway.

You don't have to build it, just say how.

it's an intricate process. nah really it's easy. water. lots of water. you take trash bags and fill them with however many gallons of water you need. 1 gallon of water = just over 8lbs. tie off and re-wrap the bag if you can otherwise use another trash bag for protection. put the water bag in a shirt that doesn't stretch, something like a doctor or nurses scrub shirt and tie it off at the base. then take a broom handle and run it through the sleeves. presto, you have a curling bar. now that is for the really heavy bags, like hundred pounders. to make lighter water bags put them in some sort of hand bag in my case we used commissary bags with a t-shirt for a handle and you have your one arm curls and reverse curls (or whatever that exercise is where you lift weights behind your back) or whatever exercise you can dream up. we had a lot of time on our hands. we dreamed up quite a few of 'em.

It's been 6 days since I got hyped up about exercising but haven't done squat. Ugh! Not easy waking up at 5am or even 5:30... I don't hear no drums, Bruce.

Gravdigr: Funny.
