If it weren't for the NALC (National Association of Letter Carriers) my hubby would have two-day weekends like so many other folks. We've been in support of the idea to suspend mail delivery on Saturday in order to cut expenses for the USPS. It would be wonderful to have two-day weekends for a change.
On the other hand, if it weren't for the NALC, he might have every other day off, too. And the pay's pretty good, as are benefits, so I really can't complain. And he shouldn't, either, though he does anyway. |
