I should point out that I have never eaten, or indeed seen in the flesh (so to speak) this thing you call smores.

Hmmm. Interesting. Perhaps the detachment was the very thing that made you able to understand it in the 2D realm.
For us, smores are like 4D. |

I wondered the same thing.
It also could be because the subject of Smores came up on the Big Finish forum 'bout a week ago, and I went off and googled them to see what they looked like.

For some reason I kept interpreting the s'mores pup as a turkey sandwich... but s'mores makes way more sense.
(Dana -- do you guys not really have s'mores on your side of the pond? I had never considered the they might be more of an American deal...) |

First time I came across the name s'mores, there wasn't much context. Just kind of "and then she said she didn't like s'mores. Who the hell doesn't like s'mores? or something like that. So...I dunno why, but i thought they may be like peanut snacks or something? I found out much later what they were. But they were something like a peanut snack in my head for a few years.

And may I reiterate?
Cats, on the other hand, aren't/don't do any of these things. All hail CATS! Note: Oh, I've had dogs. Plenty of dogs. The reasons I'll never have another are listed above. |

Some dogs slobber. Some don't. Some are destructive. Some aren't. Some hump visitors legs some don't.
We had a cat that used to attack unsuspecting vistors, leaping out at them claws aready when they dared to go upstairs to the bathroom. Whenever I stay at a house with cats, I rue the day i forget my own towel. Because cats find warm laundry and towels in airing cupboards deliciously comfy and leave their silky fine hairs all over the cloth. Unlike a wire haired breed of dog, cat hairs are so fine they basically weave their way into the material and don't brush off. Dry your face with a towel that's played host to the family cat and you're basically spreading a web of fine hairs onto your face. Blegh. If it gets anywhere near skin with moisturising cream on it it's particularly horrid.
