You don't need an attorney. That is what your insurance company is for and will do. Currently you only need the estimates. Any other decisions come later and require those numbers.

DISAGREE - Not if you need an attorney against your Ins co.
IF your insurance company tries to (wrongfully) cover part of this under your collision provision
thereby making you liable for the $1000 deductible, then you'll need personal legal representation.
