I heard a new company is planning to build a modern version of the Goose. Their market will be Cannada and Alaska. I think it is great to see old warbirds still being used

I guess the bottom was a little to soft for it, needs bigger tires.

Pilot was pretty damn smooth on the approach as well. I'm assuming the Goose can handle heavier seas than a typical float plane?

He'd still get his feet wet though. It's a great plane, and I think Griff's right about handling rougher water. I should think it would be a lot more stable where there are cross winds at water level, that's hell for small float planes.
