I just....

decided to stop figure skating.

I'm very sad about it, but I think it's the best decision. Not a lesson goes by when I don't cry about my lost skills and how hard it is to try and coax them back (physically and emotionally), and today I realized I spend most lessons watching the clock to see when the torture will be over. I'm stubborn, I hate to be beaten but all figure skaters find it harder as they age, and it's not supposed to be torture, so I'mm'a try and take it as a positive that I didn't have to wait until I snap some bone to get the hint that it's time

Not quitting, changing course, allowing for circumstances, adjusting priorities, proactive injury prevention, realigning time allocation.
