I know/realize that YouTube and many other sites use the Adobe Flash Player
to collect data about the User's activities on that website, and such data is eventually shared among advertisers. Personally, I've elected to not allow AFP to activate storage ... unless or until I deliberately activate it on a website I trust. And today, I noticed wording in the Alert Message that surprised me. “Allow www. Cellar.org to run Adobe Flash ” Is this due to the particular video embedded on that specific posting, or is such data routinely being collected/stored on The Cellar ? |
