That's kind of cool. Looks like a self serve community bike repair kiosk. Hope those cables are on a spool that can be pulled out. They seem kind of short.

Edit: Huh. Looks like there was another page of comments. I got this new firefox that just installed. I wonder if that made me not notice the additional page or if I'm just unobservant this morning.

Yep, it's a horn shark egg sack. Can you imagine finding that on the shore and thinking it's a wood shaving or something otherwise completely non-squicky?
