Do you wear a watch?
or just use your phone?
I haven't worn a watch in a long time, mostly because I have issues with my wrists. But I wished I had one while traveling recently. are they necessities? . . . or accessories?

I never wear a watch. If you're not in a place where there's a clock to see, you don't need to know the time.
That's my motto and it works well for me. I'm hardly ever late for anything either. In fact, most people say I'm the most punctual person they know.

I wore one from the time I was a kid until about 1997. Then I just used my pager, and now my cell phone.

I don't normally wear one. But I will be wearing one on my bike trip for the alarm.

I lose them all the time, so I voted sometimes.
When I know where one is, I usually wear one. My phone is an old POS. The time is always wrong. Nokia 5190, almost 7 years old...

I don't wear any jewelry. Also, I don't carry a purse.
The modern mobile phone gets its time from the network and is more accurate than any watch. I know mine is right, because I've compared its time to that of my Oregon Scientific WWVB-synchronized clocks. I will occasionally out-geek even hardcore geeks. |

I started wearing a watch this past fall--but only to classes. I take it off as soon as I get home. Real expensive, classy model---$14.99 at Meijer.

I wore a cute one I bought in San Diego, until it broke. I was out 10 bucks!
I find that if I get into the habit of wearing one, I start to depend on it. If I don't wear one for a while I don't miss it. Shopping malls and casinos are the only places where they don't want you to know what time it is.

I found out this morning that April paid $30 for this Nike watch sitting next to me...totally not worth it, IMO.

I still have two of my old Swatches. I'd still wear them today if I were a watch-wearer.

I wear my Swatch sometimes, but I'm more used to checking my phone for the time.
