Tip Mug will fill from now on

Each month you can track how well the Cellar is doing monetarily. Since Google ads kick in $80 of the approximately $225/month costs, it will usually start a third full. Every month it will reset.

Only two of you have sent mug donations in the last 2.5 months, and I remain poorer than I thought I might be at this point. Your support of the Cellar definitely does help it continue on.

Enjoy the guilt trip, you freeloaders!

if you had some type of automated billing thing in place, you could do much better. i set my credit union up to send what jinx and I (that makes it 3 people, actually) send automatically. I know it's a pain for you to go cash the checks, though.....if it was billed to my cc, it would be easier.

paypal is a pain in the ass.

I don't mind using paypal. It is very convenient, as long as I have money in the bank to cover it.

btw, ime, google checkout is cheaper and better than paypal (it's free until the end of 2007) I use the email invoice method of payment. i've hear good things about the other method too, though.

Thanks for the guilt trip -I got halfway through tipping last week, got distracted and timed out. (story of my life) I guess as far as I got must have been enough to satisfy my need to pay if not your need to be paid, 'cause I forgot about it since then. will do it tonight.

Side note: if you still can't see the liquid in the mug, like I couldn't, clear your cache (Tools --> Internet Options --> Delete Files in Internet Explorer) and then refresh the page.

I need to send cash....I'm not doing pay pal.

What the heck am I going to do now?!? I always tip at coffee shops! At least a buck a day.

Pay pal isn't so friendly.

so how often will i see it move? i want to see it move. if i drop a series of $1 tips in there will it move, or does it have to be larger chunks of moolah? Can you break it down into $.25 increments? i want to see it i want to see it.

i think there should be a special bonus system. If we can get the mug filled BEFORE the tenth of the month UT must post an amusing youtube clip of himself. i can't get over how much he sounds like Jon Favreau (sp?).

I stopped using Paypal once they required a bank account number, so I haven't had much experience with it lately. But I just tried Google checkout a few weeks ago for some online purchase, and it worked very well. All I needed to give them was my credit card number. I'm in their system now.

UT, I'm sorry I've basically ignored the tip jar all these years. I hit it once, I think, a few years ago. And I bought some jewelry from Katkeeper last year, but that hardly counts. I'll hit the tip jar again if you use something that doesn't want my bank account number, like Google checkout, but I just don't use Paypal any more.

Ya guilt tripping bastard you!!

Seriously though, if I could figure out a way to have to deduct automatically, I would.

I only do it when I remember.

We've never given paypal our account number. they asked us to, but we ignored it still works. but it does suck.
