schizomycophyta
related: when I was a little girl, I would find myself repeating the last word of the last sentence I said. Not necessarily out loud, sometimes in my head but sometimes I would mouth the word and barely whisper it. Maybe I was trying to determine if I had said it correctly. Maybe it's some weird form of echolalia. Anyway, I don't do that anymore, but I will go over and over something I said during the day and revise it in my head. Or maybe I'm just bonkers.

Guadalupe Hidalgo (as in "Treaty of") has got to be one of the most satisfying combination of mouth motions ever.

Mmm...it always changes. I'll have a word stuck for a week and then move on to another one.
Lately there have been two: Copious and Complicit.

The goddamn song "Delta Dawn". I get in the shower every morning, look up at the shower head, and that friggin' song starts up in my head.

It's Husqvarna. Manufacturer of my sewing machine, which I loooooove. But we just say Viking; it's easier.

You mean because it goes, "Oh, Delta Dawn, what's that shower you have on..."?

*ding*ding*ding* glatt for the win.
Then I get to the line "she's 41 and her daddy still calls her 'baby'" and then I remember that he's dead and I get sad. I'm not 41, but my daddy used to call me 'babe' (as in 'Hey, babe!') Great way to start every flippin' morning.

You know, it's really easy to change shower heads. Might be worth swapping it out until you get to a new place.
